Webstore Software

Our webstore is developed using software from Lightspeed. Personal data you provide for our services is shared with this party. Lightspeed has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, but they will never use your data for other purposes. Lightspeed is required by our agreement to implement appropriate security measures, including SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Lightspeed uses cookies to collect technical information about your use of the software; no personal data is collected or stored.

Lightspeed reserves the right to share collected data within its own organization to further improve its services.

Web Hosting

We use hosting and email services from MijnDomein. MijnDomein processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services, which is not personal data. MijnDomein has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. MijnDomein is obligated to confidentiality under the agreement.

Email and Mailing Lists

We send our email newsletters using Optifile. Optifile will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of each automated email sent via our website, you will see an 'unsubscribe' link. Clicking this link will stop you from receiving our newsletter. Your personal data is securely stored by Optifile. Optifile uses cookies and other internet technologies to track whether emails are opened and read. Optifile reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, share information with third parties. For our regular business email communication, we use [email service provider]. Payment Processors

To handle payments in our webstore, we use Lightspeed Payments. Lightspeed Payments processes your name, address, and payment details, such as your bank account or credit card number. Lightspeed Payments has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Lightspeed Payments reserves the right to use your data to improve its services and, in that context, share anonymized data with third parties. In the case of a request for deferred payment (credit facility), Lightspeed Payments shares personal data and financial position information with credit assessors. All the above-mentioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Lightspeed Payments' services for which they engage third parties. Lightspeed Payments does not retain your data longer than legally allowed.

Reviews

We collect reviews through the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide additional information about your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. Shipping and Logistics

When you place an order with us, it is our task to deliver your package to you. We use the services of PostNL for deliveries. To do this, we need to share your name, address, and location details with PostNL. PostNL uses this data only to execute the agreement. If PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also provide your data to these parties.

Invoicing and Accounting

For managing our administration and accounting, we use the services of Exact Online. We share your name, address, and location details, as well as details related to your order. This data is used for administering sales invoices. Your personal data is protected during transmission and storage. Exact Online is bound by confidentiality and will handle your data confidentially. Exact Online does not use your personal data for any purposes other than those described above.

General Purpose of Processing

We use your data solely for our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time, other than at your request, we will ask for your explicit consent. Retention Periods

We retain your data as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you notify us, we will also consider it as a request for deletion. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for the applicable period. However, employees will no longer have access to your customer profile and documents created as a result of your assignment.

Your Rights

Under Dutch and European law, you have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below, we explain these rights and how you can exercise them. In principle, we send copies of your data only to the email address we already have on file to prevent misuse. If you wish to receive the data at a different email address or by post, we will ask you to provide identification. All copies of data are provided in a machine-readable format that we use within our systems.
